In my online shopping ventures there’s been a brand that I’ve always loved. Knowing that they are Danish, I’ve been really excited to visit their bricks and mortar store here in Copenhagen.
The walk from our apartment takes you through the shopping district of the city. It’s easy to be distracted by street performers, food stalls and the department stores.
Searching for Something Different
I found more than a few things that I loved… Kesh
I wound my way through the back streets to find the store I was searching out – Wood Wood. I really love the aesthetic of the label. What they produce is so different to what I’ve been finding in the stores with the bigger brands we’re all familiar with. They also stock a few other labels that I loved looking through.
I found more than a few things that I loved within minutes – something that has been rare on this trip. I took my options to a change room, sent a quick message to Timmy to see what he thought and we both agreed that they were just right for me.
ON THE ROOF
Somehow Timmy convinced me to get on the roof of our apartment building (I have a major fear of heights) to take these shots. The view was completely worth it though and I managed to relax…a little.
It’s likely that I’ll be heading back to Wood Wood tomorrow and hopefully I’ll get to poke my head around the corner to look through Holly Golightly. I’ve heard they have some beautiful pieces.
